TMA XVII Semi-Finalists Video Nominees

Photos from the Tejano Music Video Awards held on February 15, 1997 at Dance Across Texas in Austin, TX.

Twelve out of seventy five music video entries will be judged at Dance Across Texas Nightclub in Austin on Saturday, February 15, 1997.

The video were judged by five jurors and evaluated on very specific elements including: Editing, Scripting, Choreography, Videography, Originality, and Special Effects.

Here are the twelve semi-finalists listed by title and in alphabectical order:

"La Dos Rosas" - Letty Guval
"Mama's Boy" - Joel Nava
"Mi Primer Amor"- Chikko
"Paloma Negra" - Ruben Ramos
"Por Siempre Unidos" - Emilio
"Siempre Hace Frio" - Selena
"Tu Amor y El Mio" - Zereno
"Ven A Mi" - Jennifer y Los Jetz
"Ya No voy A Detenerte" - Letty Guval

The top three vidoes selected in Austin will be shown at the XVII Tejano Music Awards where the winning video will be announced.
